You are invited to create and submit artistic re-working of images of the cliche’s of love. Get ready for the Valentines Day celebrations, paint a green cupid, turn that angel into a demon, sculpt rubberized love arrows or take photos of broken hearts.

Our Judge will select pieces for inclusion in the show and prizes, based on creativity, emotion, desire, passion and point of view. Acceptable formats include paintings, drawings, college, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, photography.
Small work and large work acceptable, however, no work over 10x20 feet, no sculpture or ceramic work over 150 pounds, no pornographic, violent or racist, work.
It’s all about love.

Work must be ready to hang, our system needs your work to have a wire on the back of your piece. Drawings or work on paper must be framed and ready to hang.
To submit your work in person, bring your work to the submission drop off day at MichaelKate Interiors and Gallery between 10am and 6pm on Monday January 30th, 2012.

Tax and shipping and/or delivery charges are the responsibility of the prize winners.
3. Sales.
All works of art must be for sale.
MichaelKate Interiors takes 50% commission on all sales of art work. You will receive half of the sale price, so keep that in mind while pricing your work.
There is a standard contract that each accepted artist will need to fill out and return.
Artist will be paid for work sold within 30 days.
Artists selected via digital submission are responsible to send their work to MichealKate and have it arrive by Monday Feb. 6th. Works that are accepted but not sold during the exhibit will be returned by MichaelKate to the artist at MichaelKates Expense.
